There are many facilities for the students to engage themselves in extra-curricular activities. Sports and cultural activities have become part and parcel of the campus life.
Sports : The college campus has a big courtyard where students are allowed to recreate themselves in their free time by participating in games. The Institute playground (Oval) is always bubbling with outdoor activities like Cricket, Football, Volley-ball etc. There are courts for Volley-ball and Badminton. The institute provides recreational facilities through provision of necessary sports kits all year throughout the around. In order to promote sportsmanship qualities like teamwork, sportsman spirit amongst students, the college arranges annual sports where students participate in intra-college and in inter-college competitions in football, cricket, volleyball, flat race, high / long jumps etc. The winners are given certificates of merit. Participation of students in inter-college sports arranged by MAKAUT at Kolkata is also encouraged.
Cultural events : As our institute has students from all neighboring states of West Bengal, it represents an unique of rich cultural diversity. This is reflected in the yearly college festivals organized by students where we get glimpse of the rich cultural background of our students in spheres like classical, regional dances, vocal performances, comedy and others.
